+ Update 27/10/09
- He's Back!! (Again.) That's right, I'm back, and better than ever! The tower is not only NOT IN TROUBLE, but production is back on track for the first time in months! My college classes are almost completely under my control, time is relatively free, I finally scrounged up enough for one of the latest copies of 3DSMax (That's right kiddies, no more shitty renderings!) And BEST OF ALL, I found out why my models were being mangled upon importation into max; they had been force exported with stubborn normals and the polygons were quads, and apparently max can't stand quads... In addition, I've added Vue 6 to my bundle of production apps, so brace yourselves for ultra high-quality scenes, as long as my computer will cooperate! Lastly, I'll be getting poser 7 or 8 (Haven't decided what will best suit me yet), so perhaps I might finally be able to render up a few characters in my usually empty scenes!
So that's that! With max, Vue, and hopefully poser under my arsenal; things will get real better, real quick. I'm working on a new model of the tower exterior as we speak (or as I write, I guess...), and I'm going to ram that through Radiosity with some high-res texture maps and see how it looks. That's right again; no more bland ass coloring! With Genetica as well, we'll hopefully see some polish on those models!
Although, I'm afraid to even glance at my wallet, even though i know i have enough money... Financial paranoia, I guess.
But for many of my fellow Americans, I imagine you're experiencing these feelings as well at some point or another, if not all the time... Still, like always; I'm sure we'll persevere!

I'm back. Everything is updated and refreshed. (Hopefully)
Also, for those of you interested, I'll be going back and re-rendering many of the old models; most of them with new materials. The current deviations will either be moved to my scraps or removed completely; I have yet to decide.
If you want them (for some reason) take 'em now before they're gone. Although it'll probably be a week or more before it get to this phase, so relax.
I'm leaning more towards the scraps option, anyway...
